We will be dragged back to the good old days of cartridge-based gaming as the classic gaming company Coleco has just announced the modern day version of the classic game consoles.

The gaming console is described as a "versatile new video game system that serves as a modern day take on the classic game console."

Partnered with Retro Video Game Systems, Coleco will release the console that will be called Coleco Chameleon in 2016.
We don't have any clue yet what games exactly it could run but the console can play 8-, 16-, and 32-bit games. It would be much more interesting though if it would support modern game as well.

Retro Video Game Systems president Mike Kennedy said the new gaming console "is a love-letter to all the classic cartridge based gaming systems that came before it." Gamespot also described it as "A Return to the Golden Age of Gaming."

I bet every gamer misses the old school way wherein you blow first the cartridge before sticking it into the console.
